Peter C. Kote is the founder of Professional Fiduciary Services (PFS) www.trusteepro.com. Peter has been a planned giving consultant to universities, national public radio stations and continues his involvement today with many charitable organizations. He has been involved in over $100 million dollars going to charity in planned gifts benefiting both the individual and the organization.

Peter’s nonprofit experience includes: The National Conference of Christians and Jews, the American Heart Association, Long Beach State University, Casa Colina, The American Red Cross, South County Senior Services, Father Flanagan’s Boys Town, National Public Radio and Public Television.

Peter is past president of the Orange County Planned Giving Round Table and a founding trustee for the Laguna Beach Community Foundation. He currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Laguna Canyon Foundation. Peter has initiated a number of Planned Giving Programs including Long Beach State University, American Heart Association and at the American Red Cross, Orange County Chapter.

Peter holds degrees from California State University at Fullerton and he obtained his Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law. He is a Registered Investment Advisor and a California Licensed Fiduciary. He served as an adjunct faculty member at Hope International University in Fullerton and taught at the UCI Continuing Education Program and California State University at Long Beach. Peter serves as trustee for various charitable remainder trusts, living trusts and other fiduciary positions in people’s estate plans.

He regularly conducts an eight week workshop series on Financial and Estate Planning called “It’s Your Money” and “It’s Your Estate.” Both 8-week programs are now held at senior centers throughout Orange County twice a year in April and September and sponsored by local charities.

There is never an initial charge and if you mention The Bridge you will receive up to 5 hours of consultation free. Never a contract to sign and you will only pay for my services if 100% satisfied. A Planned Giving Program must be disciplined, consistent and mission driven and does not have to be expensive.
